On September 13, we dedicated the Hope in Motion Physiotherapy & Prosthetic Center in Kenya. Hundreds gathered—community members, leaders, government officials, and news crews—all to witness God’s faithfulness.
It was a day filled with joy, celebration, and thanksgiving!

A huge highlight was the children who received new wheelchairs leading the procession, followed by the local girls school marching band. Truly unforgettable!

We went from this…
To this!

Remi held the scissors for the ribbon cutting. 🙂

The new equipment is such a blessing to all! There was so much excitement as the equipment was tested out by hospital staff. Above, the new gait trainer is demonstrated.

One powerful moment came when the new treadmills were tested for the first time. In the U.S., treadmills are common—but here in the region of AIC Litein Mission Hospital, nothing like this has ever been seen. The joy and amazement in the crowd reminded us again: Jesus is doing something extraordinary in this place.
While everyone celebrated the beautiful new facility, the greatest focus of the day was Jesus. He is the reason this center exists, the source of every good gift, and the true hope for every patient who will walk through these doors.

We were especially grateful for friends who traveled all the way from Indiana to join us in the celebration. Their presence meant so much to us. Above are Ray and Tonya Hunt, whose support and encouragement were a true blessing.
As patients walk through the doors of the new facility, the very first thing they will see is this verse—thank you to Mark Deister, who has faithfully reminded me of it in nearly every conversation we’ve ever had! What a powerful reminder that each new day is a reason to give thanks and rejoice.
We were also blessed to have Doug and Cyndie Nicola and their daughter Beth Reinhold join us. Their help during two of our busiest weeks leading up to the dedication was an incredible gift—we honestly couldn’t have made it through with our sanity intact without them!

We are celebrating every patient who will walk through the doors of this new center.
Above is Ester, pictured with her son and granddaughter. She was the very first patient to be fitted with a new leg in the new facility. What a powerful moment of hope and restoration!
All glory to God—and heartfelt thanks to you for partnering with us to make this possible.

As missionaries with Ripe for Harvest, we (Steve & Danee Morel) raise our salaries through this organization. This allows all gifts given to Project Eleven Five to go directly toward ministry projects and expenses.
However, our support through Ripe for Harvest has been very low, and we need partners to stand with us so we can continue serving.
🙏 Would you prayerfully consider partnering with us in this ministry?
Together, we can continue bringing the hope of Jesus to many.
